Connect the USB card reader and activate access cards

Step 1: Connect the card reader directly to the computer
Plug the card reader directly into the front of the computer. The printer and the card reader always go directly into the computer, never into a USB hub. If you need a USB hub, connect only a mouse, keyboard or similar to it.
Step 2: Activate new cards
Hold every newly printed access card to the card reader once until it beeps. Only then is it activated. Without this step, the card does not work at the entrance.
