In the Construction diary your company documents every construction day: who was on site, which work was carried out, what the weather was like and what special events occurred. When a construction day is finalised, Bausicht creates a PDF report from it.

Step 1: Open the construction diary and choose the day
Use the date navigation at the top right to switch between construction days with Previous day, Next day and Today, or pick a date directly. All entries always refer to the selected day.
If no work was done on a day, mark it as a non-working day with No work on this day and choose a reason, for example Weekend, Public holiday or Weather conditions.
Step 2: Check the weather
The Weather is pre-filled automatically based on the location of the construction site. If the values are not correct, click Edit next to the weather, enter the observed values in the Record weather dialog and click Save weather.
Step 3: Record the day’s entries
Use Add to create the entries for the day. Which sections are available depends on the construction diary settings:

You attach photos and documents either directly to an entry, for example to an incident, or to the whole construction day via Add → Add attachment to daily report.
Step 4: Import recurring entries
Automatic suggestions
Bausicht automatically shows recurring entries as suggestions. The source is not simply the previous calendar day but the last working day that was actually filled in. Empty days, days that were only created automatically and days marked as non-working are skipped.
An empty Sunday therefore does not prevent suggestions from Saturday’s diary from appearing on Monday. If Saturday was also empty or non-working, Bausicht looks further back. The source day does not have to be finalised; an open diary that has already been filled in can also serve as the basis. When you accept or reject a suggestion, the date of the source day is shown.
Entries from the same source are not offered twice: if you import an entry from an earlier diary, the corresponding suggestion disappears. Conversely, if you accept a suggestion, the same entry is not offered again in the import dialog.
From your earlier construction diary
With From your earlier construction diary you can select a specific earlier day. Choose the diary in the Source day field and then select the persons, employee groups, activities, equipment or materials to import. Earlier working days with importable entries are offered, regardless of whether they have already been finalised. You can still adjust the imported entries afterwards.
From subcontractors
If you may also import entries from subcontractors, both options are combined in the Import entries menu:

Under From subcontractors you select the available entries for the construction day currently open. A number after Import entries and From subcontractors shows how many entries are available. If only the import from your own diary is available to you, Bausicht shows the Import entries button directly instead of the menu.
Step 5: Finalise the construction day and open the PDF report
When the day is complete, click Finalise construction day. Bausicht checks the required information and then creates the PDF report for the day. You then find it on the same day in the PDF reports section; use Summarise reports to create a PDF covering several days.
A finalised construction day can no longer be edited directly. To make changes, click Start correction; when you finalise again, the previous version is kept.
