How do I create resources (loading equipment)?
Creating resources such as cranes, forklifts or lifting platforms in Bausicht: loading zone, colour, cost per hour, dimensions, reach and business hours.
Resources are the machines used for unloading on your construction site – cranes, forklifts, lifting platforms or telehandlers. Once you have set them up in Bausicht, subcontractors can book the right resource together with their delivery. That prevents double bookings.

Requirements
You need a role on the construction site with the permission Can create loading aids. The loading zones should already exist as well – every resource is assigned to a loading zone.
Step 1: Open the “Resources” section
Open Settings → Logistics and scroll down to the Resources section.
Step 2: Enter the basic data

| Color | Colour marking in the calendar and the overview |
| Cost per hour (€) | Optional hourly rate for using it |

Step 3: Enter dimensions and reach
The Maximum size of handling section describes what the resource can move: Length, Width, Height and Maximum load.
The Reach section describes where it can do so: Maximum height, Minimum height, Maximum width and Minimum width.
Step 4: Set the business hours and save
Use Edit business hours to define when the resource can be booked. Finally click Create Resource.
Tip: Well-maintained dimensions and reach are more than documentation – during booking they immediately show whether a resource is suitable for the planned delivery at all.
