How do I create lifting equipment (resources)?

Lifting equipment covers the machines used for unloading on your construction site – cranes, forklifts, lifting platforms or telehandlers. Once you have set it up in Bausicht, subcontractors can book the right lifting equipment together with their delivery. That prevents double bookings.

Requirements
You need a role on the construction site with the permission Can create lifting equipment. The loading zones should already exist as well – all lifting equipment is assigned to a loading zone.
Step 1: Open the “Lifting equipment” section
Open Settings → Logistics and select the Lifting equipment tab at the top.
Step 2: Enter the basic data

| Name (required) | Label, for example „Crane 1“ |
| Loading zone (required) | Zone where the lifting equipment is used |
| Colour | Colour marking in the calendar and the overview |
| Cost per hour (€) | Optional hourly rate for using it |
| Image | Photo of the lifting equipment for quick recognition |
Step 3: Enter dimensions and reach
The Maximum load dimensions section describes what the lifting equipment can move: Length, Width, Height and Maximum load.
The Reach section describes where it can do so: Maximum height, Minimum height, Maximum width and Minimum width.
Step 4: Set the opening hours and save
Use Edit opening hours to define when the lifting equipment can be booked. Finally click Create lifting equipment.
Tip: Well-maintained dimensions and reach are more than documentation – during booking they immediately show whether the lifting equipment is suitable for the planned delivery at all.
