How do I define required fields for delivery bookings?
Define per field of a delivery booking whether it is necessary, optional or hidden – so subcontractors enter exactly the details your site needs.
Not every construction site needs the same details in a delivery booking. In the logistics settings you therefore define for each field individually whether it is necessary, optional or hidden. That keeps the booking form lean while still capturing everything you need for dispatching.
Quick answer
| Step | Description |
|---|---|
| 1 | Open Settings → Logistics |
| 2 | Scroll to the Required fields for delivery bookings section |
| 3 | Click Edit and classify each field |
| 4 | Click Save |
Step 1: Open the “Required fields for delivery bookings” section

Step 2: Classify the fields
Click Edit in the section. Then choose one of three classifications per field:
| Classification | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Necessary | Without this detail the booking cannot be submitted |
| Optional | The field is shown but does not have to be filled in |
| Hidden | The field does not appear in the booking form at all |

Which fields can be controlled?
Among others, you can classify:
- Loading Zone and Resource
- Transport direction
- Number of vehicles and Number of people
- Local recipient and Booking Employee
- Type of vehicle, Material, Type of goods and Load unit
Finally click Save. The setting applies to all future delivery bookings on this construction site.
Tip: Only classify the fields you actually evaluate as Necessary. Every additional required field increases the effort for the booking subcontractors – and with it the number of incomplete or late bookings.
