Delivery notification pass for logistics bookings

How the delivery notification pass works: on confirmed logistics bookings, subcontractors and suppliers automatically receive an email with a PDF and QR code – including optional automatic barrier opening.

As soon as a logistics booking is confirmed, subcontractors and suppliers automatically receive an email containing a delivery notification pass as a PDF. The QR code on the pass is used to quickly pull up the delivery on arrival – and can optionally even open a barrier.

Automatic dispatch on a confirmed booking

As soon as a booking reaches the confirmed status, Bausicht automatically sends an email to the relevant subcontractor or supplier. The delivery notification pass is attached as a PDF.

You do not need to create or send the pass manually – this happens automatically in the background.

The QR code on the delivery notification pass

The delivery notification pass contains a QR code. This QR code lets you pull up the associated delivery directly on arrival. There are two ways to scan it:

  • Camera app: Security staff can scan the QR code with a smartphone’s standard camera app.
  • Bausicht – Check-In: Alternatively, the QR code can be scanned directly in Bausicht using the Check-In function.

In both cases the delivery linked to the booking is pulled up, so that the supplier’s arrival can be recorded and verified.

Optional: automatic barrier opening

Optionally, a QR code scanner can be coupled with a barrier. When a supplier arrives with a valid delivery notification pass within their delivery time window, the barrier opens automatically after the scan.

This coupling requires suitable hardware and an appropriate on-site setup. If you would like to use this feature, please contact our support team.
