How do I maintain materials and AVV codes for disposal?

To document waste in a legally sound way, you define the materials that occur on your construction site in Bausicht – each with the matching AVV code from the German waste catalogue ordinance. These materials are then available for every waste container.

| 2 | In the Materials for disposal containers section, click New material |
| 3 | Enter Name, AVV code and Description |

Step 1: Open “Settings → Disposal”
The page has Materials and Signature templates tabs. Select the appropriate tab for each area:
- Materials for disposal containers – the waste types including their AVV code
- Signature templates – text templates for signatures during disposal
Step 2: Click “New material”
Step 3: Enter the material and AVV code

|---|---|
| Name (required) | Label of the waste type, for example „Paper and cardboard packaging“ |
| AVV code | The six-digit code from the German waste catalogue ordinance, for example „15 01 01“ |
| Description | Optional explanation for your team |
Click Save. The material is immediately available in the list and for your waste containers.
Note: The AVV code is the waste code according to the German waste catalogue ordinance (Abfallverzeichnis-Verordnung). Maintaining it consistently means the disposal records of your construction site can be assigned unambiguously later on.
