Can access cards be printed double-sided?

Quick answer
Yes. With a duplex (double-sided) card printer, you can print double-sided directly from Bausicht. With single-sided printer models, we recommend pre-printing the back side (we will send you a design template).
Where to see whether your card template is single- or double-sided
Under Settings → Access cards, the Card sides column shows whether a template is set up as single-sided or double-sided.
Option A: Print double-sided directly (duplex)
- Start the card print in Bausicht and select double-sided printing in the print dialog.
Option B: Single-sided printer → pre-print the back side (recommended)

Send your logo/branding and the desired content
You will receive a print template in the correct size (back-side layout) for pre-printing
Open the file in Windows
Print (keyboard shortcut Ctrl+P or select “Print”)
- ⚠️ Make sure the driver is installed and the card printer is selected
After printing the back side, reinsert the cards “the other way around” so you can print the front side when needed
