Prepare the card printer: power, cleaning roller, dye film and cards
Prepare the Authentys 300 with a short video: connect power, insert the cleaning roller, load the dye film, close the lid and put MIFARE access cards into the card hopper.

Quick answer
Plug the power cable into the back of the Authentys 300 and into the socket, insert the blue cleaning roller without its protective film, load the dye film (blue roll at the back, white roll at the front) and close the lid. Then put the MIFARE access cards flat into the card hopper. Plug the USB cable into the computer only during the driver installation.
Step 1: Connect power
Plug the power cable into the back of the printer and the other end into the socket. Do not connect the printer to the computer yet. You do that when you install the driver and the installer asks you to.
Step 2: Insert the cleaning roller
Open the lid and take out the blue roller. Pull off the protective film by the yellow strip. Put the roller back above the orange roller; the arrows point down.
Step 3: Load the dye film
Take the dye film out of its packaging. The blue roll goes at the back, the white roll at the front. Press both rolls firmly into the holder.
Step 4: Close the lid
Press the lid shut until it clicks. Wait until the main menu appears on the display.
Step 5: Load the cards
Lift the card hopper out of the printer at the back top. Put the MIFARE access cards in flat and put the hopper back.
