How do I set up a site plan for storage areas?

Quick answer
Open Settings → Site plan and select Upload site plan from the add menu. Upload the plan, check the preview and click Save. The shared site plan is no longer configured under Settings → Logistics.
Requirements
To upload a plan, you need Can upload logistics files and site plans. and access to the site’s plans. The available settings pages and actions depend on your permissions.
Upload a plan
- Select Upload site plan. PDF, PNG, JPG and WebP are supported.
- For a PDF with multiple pages, select the appropriate page.
- Choose whether to Set scale. A plan without a scale can be used for orientation. A grid drawn to scale requires appropriate dimension and grid settings.
- For a plan drawn to scale, check the print dimensions and enter the scale. With PDF files, the print dimensions can be detected automatically, not the scale. If your dimensions already represent the actual site dimensions, use a scale of 1.
- If needed, define the grid element size and choose whether to display the plan in greyscale.
- Check the Preview. If the plan is difficult to read, adjust the Advanced quality settings and process it again.
- Click Save.
Use a revised plan
Select the existing plan and open Edit site plan → Replace plan. Upload the revised file and, after clicking Next, compare the So far and New views. Click Replace plan to apply the new image.
All areas and markers retain their positions. Check that they also align correctly with the new image. Edit the applicable date range under Validity; use Previous plan versions to view older images where available.
Storage areas and other markers
In the shared site plan, users with the appropriate permissions can draw storage areas, loading zones, lifting equipment, entrances or gates, restricted zones and notes. Open Site plan in the construction site navigation for the viewing page.
General logistics files such as the logistics manual are still uploaded under Settings → Logistics → Files.
